IDAPO began with a simple belief: that Nigerian and Caribbean cuisines deserve to be recognised, respected and celebrated within the luxury food space, not as trends, but as timeless cultural expressions.
The Name
A word that means coming together.
"Idapo" is a Yoruba word meaning union, fellowship and coming together.
It was chosen deliberately. Everything IDAPO makes is built on the idea of bringing things, and people, together: Nigerian and Caribbean flavours, tradition and modern refinement, and most simply, people around one pot.
Why We Exist

IDAPO’s mission is to craft high-quality fusion food products and experiences that blend Nigerian and Caribbean flavours with care, intention and refinement. Jollof Sauce is the first expression of that mission: a Nigerian staple, made to a considered standard, so the ritual of building a jollof base from scratch becomes a little more within reach.
